Funded through the Sectoral Human Resources Development Operational Programme (POSDRU), the project aimed to support social entrepreneurship and to develop economic initiatives with a positive impact on the community.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWithin this project, management, implementation and monitoring activities were carried out by consultants experienced in EU-funded projects, who coordinated the entire process, from planning activities and organising interventions up to monitoring indicators and reporting results.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eObjectives of the Pakivalo ButiQ project\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe project was designed to demonstrate that the social economy can become a real solution for community development and for creating economic opportunities for people who need additional support to enter the labour market.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThrough its activities, the project aimed to:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003edevelop entrepreneurial skills in the field of social economy;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esupport people interested in developing businesses with social impact;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003epromote existing social economy initiatives;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ecreate an active community of social entrepreneurs.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eActivities implemented within the project\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe implementation of the project included a series of practical activities designed to support the development of the social economy. Through a carefully managed process of \u003cstrong\u003eEU-funded project management\u003c\/strong\u003e, each stage was planned and monitored in order to achieve the proposed results.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eKey activities within the project included:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eorganising accredited training courses for people interested in social entrepreneurship;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esupport for developing social business plans;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003egranting funding for social economy initiatives;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eorganising the Pakivalo ButiQ Social Business Caravan, an event dedicated to promoting these initiatives;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003einformation and awareness activities regarding the role of the social economy in community development.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe Pakivalo ButiQ Social Business Caravan brought together organisations, social entrepreneurs and members of the public interested in this field. The event included presentations, meetings and visits to social economy initiatives, offering participants the opportunity to discover real examples of businesses with social impact.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eProject results\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAn important result of the project was the \u003cstrong\u003eallocation of funding for 10 social enterprises\u003c\/strong\u003e, developed in a variety of sectors, from production and services to creative activities. These initiatives contributed to creating economic opportunities and promoting a business model focused on community impact.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAt the same time, the project helped increase the visibility of the social economy concept in Romania and supported the development of a network of initiatives and organisations interested in this field.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eAward-winning EU-funded project\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe impact and quality of the implementation were also recognised at national level. The Pakivalo ButiQ project won \n\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.galasocietatiicivile.ro\/castigatori.html?year=2016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"\u003esecond prize\u003c\/a\u003e \nin the “Economic and Social Development” category at the Civil Society Gala in 2016.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis recognition confirms the value of the results achieved and the effective way in which the \u003cstrong\u003emanagement of the EU-funded project\u003c\/strong\u003e was carried out.
